Minutes of Committee Meeting on Sun 6th Jan 2008, after the AGM

   2. Matters arising from meeting:  Digital Watch; bought by Paul Goakes. Alex repeated offer to mount
 the watch on a buoyant clip-board (in hand).  PB is waiting for quote for replacement safety boat trolley
 from Wensum engineering.  Alternative supplier is B Saffrin, of Pudding Norton (01328 856 553).  Fairway
 problems: correspondence to be discussed at next meeting.

   3. Sailing Programme: DC will put 2008 programme on the website.  PG suggested that if each committee 
 member could run one weekend, most of the programme would be covered.  JC to press the cttee and other 
active sailors to carry out at least one duty each.

   4. Social Programme: After the problems of the last August (small numbers and bad behaviour) agreed 
to not hold a Summer Disco in 2008.  Instead the cttee agreed to combine a lunch-time BBQ with the 
regatta prize-giving.  This would need to be based in Overy Village Hall, because of the access to toilets.
Preferred date 23 August (Village Hall booked by PB):  CW, AS & AD offered to run the BBQ.
